“What would you say you do here?” Draft and negotiate a variety of above-the-line agreements for animated series, specials, specialty features and short-form content, including rights acquisition agreements and agreements for writers, voice actors, producers, and consultants for DreamWorks Animation Television and Universal Kids Digital Studios projects. Serve as day-to-day legal liaison with senior production staff. Advise and interface with all key company departments, including content security, production, accounting, finance, labor and employment, marketing, consumer products, insurance, tax, distribution, trademark, and clearance teams on matters related to service vendors and animated series. Be responsible for all legal aspects of assigned series, including drafting chain of title documentation and documentation summarizing talent approvals, minors work permits, consultations and rights. Special projects, as needed.
