Electrical Associate

NBCUniversal is looking for an Electrical Associate person to join our Set Lighting & Grip department as part of our Studio Operations team in Doraville, GA. In this role you will be responsible for pulling and receiving lighting and electric equipment orders for Television and Film productions. What You’ll Do: Manage lighting and grip inventory records and movement Test, stage, and check-in/out rental equipment Safely prepare/pack equipment for long distance shipping Assess equipment condition and check-in upon return; tag inventory requiring repairs Maintain clean work areas, free of any hazardous conditions Notify immediate supervisor or safety committee members of any unsafe condition(s) or any injury or accident in the workplace Operate forklift/lift trucks, as well as asses working conditions Coordinate with SL&G Manager and Rental Agents on day-to-day tasks Assist peer warehouse workers and rental agents in resolving outstanding issues Load/unload tucks Work directly with customers/crew Identify process improvement opportunities Let’s Talk About You… Passion for Production – You understand and care about high-end content production and how our businesses fit into the overarching process Self-starter – You are motivated, can work with minimal guidance, and can identify helpful resources to get the job done Cool Under Pressure – You handle stressful situations with ease and professionalism while juggling multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Communicates with Ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal, regardless of with whom you are communicating
