The Senior Staff Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst possesses deep and specialized knowledge across critical facets of the cyber threat landscape and intelligence analysis. As a recognized subject matter authority on advanced threat actors, attack methodologies, or intelligence tradecraft, this individual tackles significant and unique intelligence challenges, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in dissecting complex cyber incidents, campaigns, and trends. The Senior Staff Analyst proactively cultivates formal intelligence-sharing networks with internal security teams and external partners. Providing influential thought leadership on broader cybersecurity initiatives and strategic planning, this position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the business context driving cyber risk. The Senior Staff Analyst must articulate highly advanced threat intelligence findings and persuasively communicate actionable insights to diverse technical and executive audiences. Furthermore, this role may involve guiding and mentoring other intelligence analysts, elevating the overall capabilities of the CTI team. Responsibilities: Apply exceptionally broad and deep expertise in multiple specialized areas of cyber threat intelligence (e.g., specific threat actor analysis, advanced persistent threats, critical infrastructure threats, intelligence fusion, automation at scale). Lead and contribute to the development of strategic company objectives and principles related to cyber threat intelligence, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the organization's security posture. Work on significant and unique threat intelligence challenges where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of intangible factors, such as attacker intent, geopolitical implications, and long-term campaign objectives. Employ advanced conceptual thinking to understand the intricate and long-term implications of complex cyber threats and intelligence findings. Exercise a high degree of independent judgment in selecting and adapting methodologies, techniques, and evaluation criteria to address novel and complex threat intelligence challenges. Be accountable for the results of critical threat intelligence projects and initiatives, which may have a significant impact on the overall security function and business operations. Proactively create and cultivate formal networks with key contacts across various internal teams (e.g., executive leadership, legal, public relations, engineering) and external organizations (e.g., industry groups, government agencies, ISACs) to enhance intelligence sharing and collaboration. Provide thought leadership and contribute to broader organizational projects that require a deep understanding of the wider business context and potential impact of cyber threats. Convey highly advanced and nuanced threat intelligence information through the production of strategic reports, executive briefings, presentations, and other intelligence deliverables, influencing diverse stakeholders and audiences. Serve as a recognized internal subject matter expert on critical and complex cyber threat intelligence topics, providing authoritative guidance and insights. Mentor and provide expert guidance to other analysts, potentially directing their activities on specific projects or initiatives. Drive the development and implementation of innovative threat intelligence methodologies, tools, and processes to significantly enhance the team's capabilities.
