Legal Intern - Universal Networks

Supporting our Australia, New Zealand and Asia channels businesses, including Universal TV, 7Bravo, Bravo New Zealand, Studio Universal, DreamWorks, Oxygen and Hayu, the Legal Intern will work with our Legal and Business Affairs team across a variety of legal, compliance and business affairs matters, in an engaging, exciting and fast-paced office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Research on key legal developments, and preparation of briefing notes for NBCU legal team. Review of contracts, including program licences, research, marketing and general services agreements, and assistance with maintenance of NBCU contract database. Assistance with company administration and corporate secretarial document and compliance matters. Assistance with drafting of policies and training materials, and in provision of staff training sessions. Assistance with rights clearance matters, preparation of crew and participant releases, administration of marketing competitions and related initiatives. Ad hoc filing, administrative and general team-support responsibilities, and liaising with external customers as required.
