Sr Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)

The ALM Engineering team is looking for a well-rounded IT professional with strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills, some development experience, and strong systems administration skills. Our Site Reliability Engineers are addressing gaps and continually improving engineering services and the delivery of devices. They automate away manual processes to increase reliability and reduce operational costs. They will track down defects and come up with innovative solutions to improve reliability and availability Responsibilities: Monitoring of the production environment and ensure a speedy resolution of issues Addressing gaps and continually improve engineering services and delivery of devices Ensuring that support documentation is produced, maintained and improved Automating away manual processes to increase reliability and reduce operational costs Executing and delivering SRE standard methodologies across Endpoint Engineering team Tracking down defects and come up with innovative solutions to improve reliability and availability Implementing and managing new cloud based modern device management solutions and workflows Staying up to date with new technologies and researching those that may benefit the company Solving business needs with technology by evaluating different technologies, and products Assisting with: design, implementation, and documenting processes & procedures required for projects, and services Implementing new systems, upgrades, and modifications (Including planning, testing, coordinating, and scheduling) Taking ownership of problem management activities Providing tier-three support in problem / issue escalations Interface, collaborate, and coordinate efforts with vendors and other departments in the company Providing training to internal teams on technical solutions and proposals
