Assistant Manager Parking

This position is very fast paced and will be responsible for supporting the Parking Services Manager by overseeing the guest service standards, team member satisfaction and parking/transportation needs on the hilltop. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for training and development of parking team members and supervisors. Additionally, you will be assisting the manager in the planning and execution of departmental and company policies and procedures established by the company as well as implementing departmental programs focusing on team member & guest satisfaction. Responsible for managing Supervisors and Team Members providing work direction, performance reviews and coaching. Mentors and counsels Supervisors and Team Members while enforcing policies and procedures ensuring compliance of company and departmental standards. Assists with strategic planning of the area that focuses on providing a positive experience for Team Members, guests and ultimately provides positive financial returns. Creates, facilitates, and supports development plans and training for Lead Team Members. Create and update job descriptions, standard operating procedures, and handbooks when necessary to ensure all information is current and up to date. Responsible for managing a workforce of 100+ Team Members daily. Conduct one-on-one performance reviews and annual evaluations. Takes action to prevent recurrence of Guest and Team Member feedback in a timely manner. Investigates incidents including Team Member/Guest concerns and/or complaints. Apply and implement performance standards by proactively thinking on new ideas, concepts, and procedures relative to changing business and staffing needs. Assists with the maintenance of both labor and non-labor departmental budgets. Ensure a partnership exists with department’s scheduler to ensure that budgeted labor hours are met. Implements initiatives to support the Team Member and Guest satisfaction programs (TSAT/GSAT), ensuring Team Members understand the importance of the programs. Participate as a Duty Manager when needed to support area coverage. Plan and coordinates the day-to-day operational and special event needs. Rewards and recognizes team members every day for above and beyond performance. Participate and supports internal cross departmental relationships. Uphold our Environmental Health and Safety standards. Understand and uphold the B-192 collective bargaining agreement by partnering with Human resources and Labor Relations to maintain positive union relationships. Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations. Leads by example by modeling the Core Values. Perform activities, functions and other related tasks and duties as assigned or require.
