SNY - Editor

The Editor will be responsible for editing content across various sports programs, including both long-form and short-form formats. This includes weekly studio-based programs, live news, digital content, and remote programs such as teases, highlights, packages, voiceovers, and sound on tape. Given the time-sensitive nature of the assignments, the role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to make prompt, well-informed decisions. The Editor reports to the Director of Post Production and should be comfortable working independently when required. Responsibilities: Edit short-form content for sports programs, including 30- and 60-minute shows Edit show features and long-form programming Edit segments for Pre- and Postgame Live shows, and other studio-based programming Edit content for digital platforms Create graphics using Avid Produce and write highlights, packages, and other editorial content Oversee newsroom workflow in the role of Content Supervisor Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
