Manager, Local Ad Sales Finance
The Manager of Local Ad Sales Finance is responsible for supporting advertising sales analysis and reporting of approximately $2B Gross Ad Sales Revenue across our 12 NBC Owned Stations, 31 Telemundo Owned Stations and 4 Regional Sports Networks. Reporting to the Senior Director of Ad Sales Finance, you will partner with sales and finance leadership throughout the country and provide critical revenue analysis that has a direct impact on key business decisions for Local, Peacock, NBC Network and Telemundo Network. This role provides a unique opportunity to assist in process development and reporting improvements across the Local Ad Sales Business. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: This role will provide ongoing support in fundamental revenue reporting and analysis for the NBC and Telemundo Owned Stations, Regional Sports Networks, Political Cycles and Tentpole Events including the Olympics, World Cup, Superbowl, and NBA etc. Ownership of Sales reporting and metric analysis, with a focus on our Digital and Diginet revenue streams Improve the depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams Support revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plans, estimates), including analyzing submissions from multiple stations Assist in creating executive level presentations for budget, LRP and forecasting cycles Research drivers of key variances and fluctuations in Ad Sales Finance KPI’s Assist in monthly and quarterly financial close, including billing reconciliation and accruals Leverage best practices with peers to develop consistent processes for the entire Digital Portfolio Execute routine postmortem analysis and ad hoc historical requests Gain in-depth knowledge of all Sales and Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Operative, Wide Orbit, Salesforce, Business Intelligence, etc.) Work with the Sales team to ensure that sales data is financially accurate Work cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales related projects Represent Local Finance on key Ad Sales initiatives (systems enhancements, research/measurement, KPI Tracking etc.)
