Manager, Human Resources

About the Role VERSANT Media is looking for a Manager, Human Resources responsible for providing strategic and operational HR leadership, direction, and expertise for the SportsNext organization. In collaboration with the Sr. Director, Human Resources, this person will provide day to day client support and strategic HR solutions for the SportsNext group. This role will partner closely with business leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, change management, employee coaching, compensation strategies, succession planning, training & development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication. What You'll Do As a Manager, Human Resources on our team, you’ll: Drive key HR initiatives including but not limited to staffing, performance management, compensation strategies, succession planning, training and development, rewards & recognition, recruitment and retention, organizational effectiveness, and employee communication. Partner/collaborate with the leadership team to align and execute HR strategies in support of business initiatives. Develop and implement change management plans. Manage complex employee relations issues including organizational and structural changes. Work with managers and talent acquisition to focus on recruitment and retention of internal and external talent. Advocate and offer guidance and coaching to department leaders and employees, providing feedback and advice on organizational issues. Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner. Uncover, assess and propose opportunities for strategic improvements. Identify training needs, recommend solutions, facilitate learning and development programs.
