Associate Producer, Dateline Audio

This audio-first AP role would contribute to podcasts including "Dateline True Crime Weekly", “Talking Dateline”, “After The Verdict” (and other projects as needed/available) Responsibilities: Monitor breaking crime news and gather elements for coverage Schedule guests and talent for remote interviews and tracking sessions Research and tape segments for various Dateline podcasts Factcheck podcast episodes Assist in laying up edits in Descript and Pro Tools Organize metadata, compile transcripts, and submit cue sheets Take the lead on publishing episodes Coordinate shipping and return of audio equipment to guests and talent PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of 24 months or less, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
