WNBC is currently seeking a Promotion Producer who will create, plan, and execute local marketing, branding, social and sales initiatives. This person will be a passionate storyteller responsible for exceptional writing, editing, directing talent, marketing on all platforms, and bringing innovative ideas to the table. Producer Responsibilities: Produce daily topical, image, and social promotion on tight deadlines Write smart, accurate and creative copy across all platforms Support and work closely with News Executive Producers, Weather producers and teams across the station Edit high quality local news promos and campaigns to support our NBC Brand Conceptualize and execute best-in-class creative for NBC4 New York newscasts and franchises- ie: Better Get Baquero; I-Team Direct and manage talent and crews on set and location during image shoots Shoot and record video/audio when needed Oversee projects from pre-production to post-production Cross Department Collaboration with News, Sales, Community/ Public Relations, outside agencies and production vendors on brand campaigns, news promotion, image spots. Supervise/Direct VO recording and audio mix sessions daily Collaborate with VP of Marketing, Creative Director, Telemundo 47 and others to brainstorm script ideas and concepts. Collaborate with designers and production team on all projects Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
