The TVEverywhere team is looking for an exceptional Technical Project Manager to join our high-performing team of program and project managers delivering world-class products for NBC Entertainment and Sports. The Technical Project Manager’s primary responsibilities are leading a technical team to successful and seamless launches and continually improving processes to further the efficiency of backend and client teams. This role reports to the Sr. Director, PMO. Together, we will shape our culture, solve technical problems, and create extraordinary streaming experiences that captivate audiences worldwide. Essential Responsibilities: Adept in a fast-paced environment and takes accountability to manage multiple-concurrent deliveries with a keen attention to detail Approaches work from a place of curiosity and with a user-first perspective Thrives in situations of grey, is comfortable making decisions with unknowns and knows when to pivot if needed Brings uniformity and rigor to large cross-functional projects through accessible and accurate project plans and with regular and clear communication to ensure projects are completed on schedule Proactively sets expectations regarding process and outcomes; navigating changes that arise, and being comfortable with escalating technical and non-technical issues appropriately Sees the bigger picture and critical path thus leading to identifying gaps and anticipating risks; takes action to connect technical and non-technical parties and facilitates solutions Assesses issues by identifying likely root causes and consequences Facilitates and oversees the development process using software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) of a team of 10+ engineers and QA testers Continually strives to evolve processes and documentation Effectively builds relationships with peer teams to influence project priority and delivery Creates and maintains well-organized project documentation, including meeting notes, playbooks and how-tos This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
