Senior Manager, Graphic Design - Universal Creative - UK Project
JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager - Graphics Design, is responsible for overseeing the initial phases of graphics projects, including strategic planning, concept development, and ensuring that projects align with business goals. This role requires advanced project management skills, strategic planning, and the ability to lead complex projects, manage risks, and innovate within the theme park environment. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement strategic project plans, overseeing the conceptualisation and early development phases of high-impact graphics projects. Ensure projects align with organisational goals and stakeholder expectations. Lead cross-functional teams, including internal departments and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless project handoff and continuity from concept through implementation. Provide strategic guidance and resolve high-level issues. Evaluate and approve graphics-related design documents, ensuring feasibility, innovation, completeness, corrections, and alignment with creative and technical standards. Identify potential risks and create plans to address potential issues. Oversee the RFP process, including the development of comprehensive documentation and managing vendor relationships. Ensure clarity in project requirements and resolve elevated questions effectively. Manage high-stakes fabrication processes, ensuring adherence to creative vision, budget constraints, and project timelines. Implement quality control measures and oversee adherence to contractual obligations. Conduct thorough observation and assessments of existing facilities and anticipate future project needs. Develop and approve logistics plans to minimise disruptions and optimise project efficiency. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
