The Position: The Senior Vice President, Human Resources has overall leadership responsibility for the design, development and implementation of effective HR strategies that support the people and business priorities of Universal Studios Hollywood. This position serves as a key member of the senior leadership team for the Universal Studios Hollywood businesses and the senior human resources staff.

Summary This role oversees the compliance and administrative functions within the Human Resources department. It ensures the accurate and efficient implementation of attendance policies and bi-annual status checks in line with our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Additionally, this position supervises HR Assistants who manage attendance infraction disciplines and support the interactive and accommodations processes for Team Members with leave or accommodation needs.

As a Health Services Supervisor at Universal Studios Hollywood, you will be an integral part of the team dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our guests, team members and vendor partners. Your role, alongside the other team supervisor and manager, is to lead our team of nurses, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics. They are responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through compassionate and prompt first aid care to our guests, as well as preventive and post-injury occupational health care to our team members.

Summary The Principal Mechanical Engineer provides sustaining engineering support for theme park attractions (rides and shows). Duties include complex downtime investigation and troubleshooting of ongoing issues, reverse engineering and redesign, and other engineering tasks as required to ensure daily operational readiness of attractions.

As the Representative, Marketing – UPRV, you will partner with the Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations (UPRV) Management Team to develop, manage and execute the marketing and commerce plans for Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) & Universal’s New Ventures (UNV). You will assist the Management Team with overall business direction, including achieving annual business and financial goals, all marketing and sales functions and analysis of all programs.

The Sr. Manager Projects is responsible for directing and managing all aspects of the development of the facility construction, show production and integration for attraction development (the “Project”), including all planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, design, construction, fabrication, delivery, and commissioning required to open the Project within the assigned budget, quality, schedule, creative and guest experience targets.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, establishing, and integrating comprehensive project plans and schedules throughout the project’s lifecycle. You will be responsible for initiating, integrating, monitoring and preparing status for internal and/or external project schedules into a comprehensive program or integrated project master schedule. This includes providing project controls advisements and progress analysis for senior management decision making, as well as tracking current and future resources and production progress based on the Integrated Master Schedule.

This work is performed with significant oversight from project controls / estimating leadership.
