Director, Strategic Initiatives

The Director, Strategic Initiatives will serve as an operator and advisor to the President, Advertising & Partnerships, in partnership with the SVP, Enterprise Partnerships & Operations. Driving clarity, alignment, and execution across the organization will serve as this function’s primary responsibility, supporting the Enterprise, Marketing and Communications teams. You will stewards the organization’s agenda — with a focus on marketing priorities, executive communication, operational rhythm, and cross‑functional coordination — to accelerate enterprise-wide initiatives. Acting as a central connective point across relevant teams and stakeholders, you will ensure that priorities are translated into action, leadership is informed, and the organization remains synchronized around its most critical objectives. Responsibilities: Organize the planning, agenda setting and next steps for regularly occurring, cross-functional, team-wide meetings Lead the development and management of organizational OKRs Collaborate cross-functionally to improve existing business operations, ensure seamless execution of priority initiatives, execute plans needed to drive rapid revenue growth Manage revenue tracking for the organization and take the lead on reporting automation to make company data more actionable, in partnership with planning and monetization, tying marketing to revenue directly Define key metrics to track, building data fluency across the organization Build a roll up strategy in partnership with Communications team and support executive go-to-market storytelling Communicate the vision and status of strategic initiatives to senior executives and their teams at all levels of the organization Identify opportunities for process improvements and building consensus Own the President’s operating cadence and leadership meeting rhythm in partnership with Executive Assistant Work with Comms team to develop executive communications, including leadership briefings and enterprise-wide messaging Serve as operational point person for cross Enterprise, Marketing & Communications initiatives like CRM management Desired Characteristics: Demonstrable business acumen with legacy media talent and executives; with a foundational understanding of the advertising sales marketplace Proven communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts, defining value propositions and championing the voice of sales Experience leading strategic conversations at all levels, gaining buy-in across a large organization and across partner organizations Deep understanding of influence over ownership with experience leveraging data-driven metrics to analyze the business and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and collaborate with senior executives, creative partners, thought leaders, and peers across a highly matrixed, fast-paced, innovative, Ability to communicate complex media, advertising, and technology concepts into clear and simple executive communications Executive presence and strong business judgment Strategic operator experienced in prioritization and planning cycles Comfortable with ambiguity and proactive in anticipating executive needs
