Engineer, Production Support

NBCUniversal is looking for an Engineer, Production Technology in the Production Engineering group for NBCUniversal's Operations and Technology (O&T) segment, based at the Telemundo Center facility in Miami, FL. O&T supports Enterprise Technology, Broadcast, and Production systems across NBCU globally. The Production Engineer is responsible for providing best-in-class live television production support for NBCUniversal, supporting live and scripted/unscripted productions. This position will also support the Projects team to implement changes, enhancements, and support technology refresh projects and other business initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: Become a subject matter expert on production workflows. Provide technical support and support maintenance of a live broadcast production environment consisting of multiple studios and production control rooms. Support virtualization and cloud initiatives, continuing deployment of virtual production systems both on-premise and in the cloud. Resolve support requests, monitor ticketing systems for new issues and assigned tasks, and performing preventative maintenance as assigned. Collaborate with other members of the engineering and technical teams in executing projects, including working with internal stakeholders to create and update configuration documentation, technical SOP’s, training materials, etc.
