Associate Engineer, Production Support

NBCUniversal is looking for a talented individual to become an Associate Engineer, Production Support for NBCU Operations and Technology (O&T) based in the Telemundo Center facility located in Miami, FL. O&T supports Enterprise Technology, Broadcast and Production systems across NBCU globally. The Associate Engineer is responsible for providing best-in-class live television production support for NBCU, supporting live and scripted/unscripted productions. This position will also support the projects team, where and as required, to implement changes, enhancements, and support technology refresh and expansion projects. Primary Responsibilities Provide technical support and support maintenance of a broadcast production environment consisting of multiple studios and production control rooms. Support virtualization and cloud initiatives, continuing deployment of virtual production systems both on-premise and in the cloud. Maintain production systems by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. Resolve support requests, monitor ticketing systems for new issues and assigned tasks, and performing preventative maintenance as assigned.
