Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs

Role Purpose: The Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs will provide legal support across a broad range of software and technology licensing, professional services, confidentiality, and related commercial transactions for NBCUniversal, with a focus on corporate operations, information technology, human resources, and other enterprise functions. This role will serve as a practical and solutions-oriented legal partner to internal stakeholders, advising on contract terms, risk allocation, and related legal issues while helping to advance business objectives. The position may also support business unit attorneys on related transactions and assist with efforts to make the delivery of legal services more efficient and effective. This role will report to the division’s Senior Vice President. Responsibilities: Provide legal support for a portfolio of agreements and internal stakeholders, primarily for NBCUniversal’s Sourcing and Operations & Technology groups Draft, review, negotiate, and support a variety of corporate transaction agreements for NBCUniversal and its various business units, including M&A and related activities Advise clients regarding contractual rights and duties, matters of contract interpretation, and pre-litigation dispute resolution Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams to ensure personal data and confidential information is collected, used, and secured in accordance with company requirements and evolving law
