Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Responsibilities The Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting role is part of the corporate controllership function, which is centralized in NY and has responsibilities over the corporate function in NY, NY and London, UK. This role is responsible for supporting the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and assisting with the reporting of results in accordance with GAAP. The role will help standardize existing processes, identify business process efficiencies, support best practices, and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives. This position will work as a member of a cohesive team that can successfully meet tight deadlines and respond quickly to changes in the business environment and will report to the Director, Corporate Accounting. The ideal candidate would have an accounting degree with 3+ years of experience and strong technical knowledge of general accounting activities. A qualified candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and comfortable balancing priorities across competing initiatives.
