System Engineer, Remote IT Operations

The System Engineer, Remote IT Operations will play a key role in supporting the IT services that keep our live events and remote operations running smoothly. This position blends technical expertise with operational excellence - ensuring our teams are equipped with reliable, secure, and scalable technology, wherever the work takes them. Responsibilities: Deliver IT support for remote operations, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and network services. Manage inventory, installation, and configuration of remote infrastructure kits. Maintain documentation and updates for LAN/WAN connectivity supporting NBCU remotes. Track equipment and scheduling through the remote operations calendar. Partner closely with Broadcast Engineering, Digital, and Corporate Security to support convergence of broadcast and IT technologies. Oversee coordination with external hardware, software, and communication vendors. Identify and implement new technology initiatives and agentive AI to enhance operational efficiency and performance. Develop and maintain IT and networking dashboards for remote operations. Travel to remote sites to provide IT support during high-profile events.
