Director, System Design/Architecture (SAP)

The Director, Systems Design/Architecture (SAP) is responsible for integrating software and hardware frameworks, systems and product design functions for designing underlying architecture for use in one or more product offerings. This role will evaluate final results of design assuring accomplishment of technical objectives & prepare/present reports outlining the outcome of projects and make recommendations for necessary actions to achieve desired results. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage technical SAP Teams through complex system development and deployment. Solutions to include artificial intelligence, application development and integration in one unified environment. Re-engineer, Transform and Maintain custom SAP SOH workloads on S/4 and BTP Analyze custom workloads on current stack and establish a framework to migrate objects and get to clean core Provide technical guidance and architectural inputs for code remediation to S/4 Actively lead SAP technical vision to leverage best practices and drive maximum business value Apply technology to complex processes with a drive toward relentless simplification and reduction in TCO Evaluate business requirements and architect SAP solutions providing an integrated approach Be up to date on latest SAP technology stack and act as strategic advisor to product and business teams on how to leverage SAP products and tools Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems Guide the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards and best practices Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with their solution components and be in alignment with their roadmap Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables Act as a mentor, coach, and provide training to engineers and consultants by sharing solution and technical expertise
