Freelance Technical Facilities Scheduler, Olympic Games

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 8 months between January 2024 – August 2024 or 1 month during Games Time, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. Responsible for assisting the Stamford Technical Facilities Scheduling team by scheduling NBC Olympics television broadcast technical facilities in the International Broadcast Centre in Paris. This scheduler will be based in the NBC Sports Group facility in Stamford, CT, and will report remotely to the Manager of Technical Facilities Scheduling Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scheduling facilities such as television Control Rooms, Studios, Edit Rooms, Announce booths, server ingest channels, MATV and IPTV channels, REM and routers, IFB and PL COMMS, transmissions to and from the venues, transmissions to and from NBC facilities in the United States, transmissions to and from the host broadcaster, an SNG unit, aerials, venue fax checks, and more in ScheduALL. Produce and distribute schedule reports. Support Connecticut-based Olympic team users of ScheduALL in all departments. Assist in the development and maintenance of the ScheduALL database and system.
