Counsel/Sr. Counsel, Labor Relations

Reporting to VP, Labor Relations, the person in this role will provide strategic advice and counsel to internal clients regarding single employer and industry-wide collective bargaining agreements and the National Labor Relations Act, and represent the Company in collective bargaining agreement negotiations. The role will also handle and provide counsel on labor grievances and arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board matters, and other related litigation for the Company. Responsibilities: Provide strategic advice and counsel to internal clients, including business & legal affairs, creative executives, HR professionals, business leaders, and production teams regarding labor laws and union contractual obligations Act as legal counsel in union grievances, labor arbitrations, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, and manage outside counsel as needed Working with other labor relations attorneys, coordinate labor litigation strategy across NBCUniversal business units and track litigation matters and trends Represent Company in collective bargaining negotiations Provide production support for scripted and unscripted programming
