Freelance BOC Maintenance Core Manager, Milan Cortina Olympics – NBC Sports

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 3 months between January 2026 – March 2026, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed. NBC Olympics is seeking a BOC Maintenance Core Manager within the International Broadcast Center (IBC) Engineering department to support the 2026 Milan Winter Games. In this position, you will provide technical engineering support of the core routing and transmission systems in the NBC Sports facility within the IBC in Milan and will be a part of the Engineering Team for NBC Olympics in country. The position requires both hands-on technical skills, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively work with our engineering and operational partners in the IBC, Stamford Connecticut headquarters, and with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS). Responsibilities: Provide front-line support for core broadcast systems, including routing, transmission, multiviewers, reference distribution, audio systems, and encoders/decoders Interface with BOC operators and supervisors, and engineering partners at venues, Stamford CT headquarters, and OBS in troubleshooting and resolving technical issue during system checkout period and during Games time Assist in configuration and system checks prior to the Games and help with teardown
