As a Principal of Product Design of Commerce- Upgrade and Churn, you will report to the Senior Director of Product Design of Commerce- Upgrade and Churn. The ideal candidate will: Drive Strategic UX Innovation: Lead with creative thought, combining industry best practices with deep insights into human behavior to elevate the post-purchase journey. Deliver Impactful Business Results: Leverage your expertise in digital commerce to design experiences that boost the share of higher-tier subscribers (increasing ARPU) and reduce voluntary cancellation requests, directly impacting subscriber retention. Demonstrate Deep Domain Expertise: Bring a proven track record in UX and product design, particularly in subscription management or similar commerce contexts, ensuring every design decision is informed by robust data and consumer insights. Mentor and Collaborate Effectively: Act as a mentor and cross-functional leader, partnering seamlessly with Product Management, Engineering, and executive leadership to drive cohesive strategies and execute on bold design visions. Thrive in Dynamic Environments: Embrace a fast-paced, iterative work culture, adeptly balancing visionary ideas with practical execution while continuously asking “why” to refine and challenge the status quo. Communicate with Clarity and Purpose: Articulate your design vision with maturity and precision, engaging stakeholders in fact-based discourse to rally support for transformative initiatives. What you will be doing: Delivering end-to-end UX for high-value, consumer-centric digital products. Translating requirements to flows leveraging existing ones and/or establishing new flows. Growing the fidelity of UX flows while caring for potential edge cases and the nuances of the experience across various devices. Working with foundational leads: UX research, UX engineering, design systems, and UX writing. Formulating and communicating ideas and plans to peers, leadership, and engineering contributors. Balancing inputs from business, design, research, technology, and external partners. Collaborating with product owners and engineers to successfully deliver products to market. Developing talent and providing creative direction and mentorship to junior designers. Exhibiting a human-centered design approach to evolve our output and process. Maintaining a critical eye and an obsessive attention to detail. Advocating for a healthy and collaborative culture for our product organization.
