Director, Content Analytics
About the Role Fandango Entertainment is seeking a data-driven and programming-savvy Director of Content Analytics to lead efforts in understanding how content resonates with diverse audiences across platforms. This role will focus exclusively on content performance, audience engagement, and programming strategy -- informing both product decisions and content acquisition through deep, actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Audience & Content Performance Analyze reach, engagement, and consumption patterns across content types, genres and formats. Deliver insights on audience behavior segmented by demographics, geography, platform, and viewing context. Identify content trends and performance drivers to inform programming strategy. Translate complex data into clear narratives for partners. Content Acquisition & Programming Develop frameworks for evaluating content ROI, audience fit, and long-term engagement potential. Support content licensing and acquisition decisions with audience intelligence. Provide near real-time reporting to content programming teams to optimize content planning and publishing. Enable experimentation around content programming, promotion and distribution strategies. Data Science, Measurement & Reporting Ensure consistency and accuracy in content tagging and taxonomy. Drive more advanced approaches to enrich content data that might enable content analytics and/or algorithms (e.g. embeddings, auto-tagging). Define and maintain core KPIs for content success across platforms. Build scalable dashboards and reporting tools to democratize access to content insights.
