Account Director, Sports Partnership Development

As Account Director, Sports Partnership Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving NBCU Local’s cross-platform sports revenue, with a strong emphasis on digital innovation and live sports experiences. Reporting to the Vice President, you will build high-impact brand partnerships and leverage NBCU Local’s full suite of digital sports products—including livestream, shortform video, and social media—to deliver results that advance our business. This role is central to elevating our sports partnership efforts and shaping the future of digital and live sports sales. Responsibilities Accelerate cross-platform revenue by launching and optimizing content-driven sports solutions designed to expand our partnership base. Drive new business efforts across NBC, Telemundo, and RSN sports properties, maximizing reach and results through NBC Sports livestream, shortform video, social amplification and live sports broadcasts. Serve as a subject matter expert for sellers across the division, providing guidance on packaging and selling digital sports products alongside traditional live sports broadcasts. Collaborate with internal teams (planning, marketing, content, research) and external stakeholders (clients, agencies, partners) to continually evolve sales strategy and meet marketplace needs. Develop and execute cross-platform campaigns that integrate livestream, shortform video, social media, and live sports broadcasts, creating innovative sponsorship opportunities and maximizing brand impact. Stay current on digital sports trends, live event production, audience engagement strategies, and NBCU Local product updates to drive growth and exceed sales targets.
