Director, Finance - Sports Digital & Streaming

The Director, Ad Sales Finance for Sports Digital & Streaming will oversee core ad sales finance processes for the rapidly growing Sports livestreaming business on Peacock and other NBCU digital endpoints, supporting Sunday Night Football, NBA, Big Ten, Notre Dame, Premier League, NBC Golf, NBC Olympics, World Cup, and all other properties in the NBC Sports and Telemundo Deportes portfolio. The Director will have responsibility for financial reporting, revenue recognition, forecasting and analysis for all Sports and Big Event digital ad sales. The role reports to the VP of Ad Sales Finance, Digital & Streaming. Duties and Responsibilities: Directly oversee advertising revenue forecasting, reporting, and recognition for NBC’s growing and diverse portfolio of Sports rights Recurring Sales reporting and metric analysis, identifying key trends and variances Revenue forecasting & communication (budget, long range plan, estimates) in collaboration with Sales Leadership and Divisional Finance Leadership to support strategic growth and monetization of Digital & Streaming initiatives Analyze and report sales risks and opportunities against targets by identifying key variance drivers (ie: traffic, pricing, sell-thru, etc.) Lead sports rights bid valuations in collaboration with Business Development Support Sports Sales and Finance teams on broader portfolio reporting and analysis, including weekly cash reporting and sales channel demand tracking across NBC Sports and Peacock Oversee Monthly Close process for the NBCU Digital Portfolio, coordinating with Ad Sales and Divisional Finance teams on revenue accounting and recognition across Direct IO, programmatic and partnership revenue streams Collaborate with the NBCU Digital & Peacock Ad Sales finance teams on portfolio-wide budgeting and reporting, assisting with weekly Digital Executive reports, and performing ad hoc analysis impacting all business units Manage, develop, and motivate a team of 3 Finance professionals
