Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate Operations
Role Purpose: The Sr. Financial Analyst for Corporate Operations is responsible for supporting the financial planning and forecasting for NBCU Corporate Functions. This role will have significant interaction with leaders across operations and finance, particularly through the budget and estimate cycles. This role reports to the Manager, Corporate FP&A and is part of a 5-person team overseeing Corporate Functions Cost. Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, estimates and long-range plan for assigned Corporate Functions Departments Manage closing process including journal entries, pacing, variance analysis reporting Partner with the corporate functions team to prepare operating reviews shared with the EVP of FP&A & Global Controllership Leader Prepare financial results to share with senior leaders Create management reports and presentations on a routine and ad hoc basis Implement process change to create value added financial analysis for assigned Corporate Functions Continually review financial processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy and drive effective financial forecasting Participate in other ad hoc projects
