Job Description Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) is responsible for managing the studio’s Film and TV transactional business (Electronic Sell-Through and Video-On-Demand) across all distribution platforms. The primary role of the Director of Business Development will be to negotiate and manage the commercial deals for existing and new distribution partners. In addition, the position will be responsible for helping drive overall commercial strategy and new business development initiatives. This position works in close partnership with the Account Management, Operations, and Marketing teams to drive a coordinated approach to the market. Responsibilities Negotiate and oversee commercial deals with new and existing distribution partners: cable, satellite, telco, hotel, digital platforms Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners Provide analysis to business development team on deal terms and commercial strategies Foster cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Account Management, Operations, Servicing, Marketing, Technology, and Finance teams to execute partnership requirements and deliver on business objectives The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the company.
